## Source design and template applicability

The paper uses sailing-versus-steam travel-time instruments in gravity/trade and income equations. The supplied OLS travel-time regression is not a binary-adoption DiD substitute for that design.

No DiD estimates, uncertainty intervals or homogeneity-test decision were computed in this tranche. No point is added to the calibration plots. This is not a zero effect or a failed statistical test.
